Circuit Bent PSS-790
I thought I’d share some of my Summer projects, I have some more posts to come but I’m fairly busy at the moment! Sorry for being so slack with keeping this site up to date!
I have got much more into electronics hacking and circuit bending over Summer and have been doing little on the software side. This post is showing some of my bending works:
The PSS-790 is my favorite work to date, it sounds incredible!

My most recent work is a Yamaha DJX2B, it’s a gimicky groovebox and the beats sound outdated at best, I’ve added 18 switches and it know kicks out Aphex Twin style acid-glitch!

I also recently worked on a PSS-31 I found a chip inside that seemed to control a lot of the sound sample playback and this creates some interesting glitches and drones:

And last but not least, the PSS-140 was fun to bend, I attempted some previously documented mods know as the ‘Dataline Mods’ where you cut the datalines between the brain chip and the sound chip on the circuit board, I also added some mods of my own:

Again apologies for my slackness in updates, to make it up to you I have a special treat for windows users that I will be posting up here in a short while!
